August Times of India - The leading English News Daily started
a special supplement for Kolhapur. KOLHAPUR PLUS is a
four page edition dedicated to happenings, goings on and
issues affecting the city and its people.
The first
compilation had a beautiful and serene picture of Rankala Lake
and of course Goddess Shree Mahalaxmi on the front Page.
Though initially Planned fortnightly to begin, but it is a
great step taken towards increasing the Living Standards of
Kolhapur. The supplement has a high print quality printed on
the good paper ( Times standard quality ) giving it a rich
feel.
"We have had a
good response with our First issue. Hopefully we will soon be
able to make it Weekly instead of fortnightly" said
Mr.Shivraj Mane Asst. Manager Times Response. "The
contents are good" was a response from a Reader "But work
still needs to be done for better coverage " he added.
